Rae J. (Young) Jacques Alley November 20, 1930 January 27, 2012 WINDHAM - Rae J. (Young) Jacques Alley, 81, passed away on January 27, 2012 at Mercy Hospital as a result of pneumonia complications. She was born in Westbrook on November 20, 1930 the daughter of Alice (Shaw) and Ralph Young. Rae attended Westbrook schools. She worked at the Dana Warp Mill and Westbrook Spinning prior to her retirement from Data General. Rae married Raynald Jacques in 1950 and together they raised their son, Michael in Westbrook. She enjoyed her flower gardens, bird watching and spending time at Two Lights. Rae was predeceased by her husband in 1982; parents, and sister, Charlotte Ramsdell and a half-sister, Shirley Donohue. She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Robert Alley; son, Michael Jacques; brothers Robert, Walter, Ralph and Philip Young; and sister, Evelyn A graveside service will be held in the spring at Woodlawn Cemetery, Westbrook. Arrangements are by A.T. Hutchins, Independent Death Care, Portland.
