Philip Matthew Lovejoy February 13, 1924 June 10, 2014 Windham - Philip Matthew Lovejoy, 90, of Windham, passed away on June 10, 2014 at Ledgewood Manor. He was born on February 13, 1924 in Lincoln, a son of Stephen and Helen Lovejoy. He grew up in Lincoln, graduating from Mattanawcook Academy. After high school, Philip served his country by enlisting in the United States Army. He served as a Technician during World War II. Philip also worked for many years in the heating and air conditioning industry as a technician and service manager. Philip was predeceased by his parents, his first wife Althea (Packard) Lovejoy and his second wife Leone (Littlefield) Lovejoy, his brothers Jerome and Evan Lovejoy and his son Stephen Lovejoy. He is survived by his daughter Pari Bove and her husband Frank, grandsons Mario Bove and his wife Chrissy, Dominic Bove and his wife Cassy and granddaughter Jessica Conley as well as many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to visitation from 10 - 11 am, followed by a funeral service at 11am on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at A.T. Hutchins Funeral and Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Ave, Portland. Interment with military honors will follow at Brooklawn Memorial Park, 2002 Congress St. Portland.
