Peter Paul Bellino Risbara November 23, 1946 September 11, 2012 Portland - Peter Paul Bellino Risbara, 65, of Windham, formerly of Portland, passed away on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Maine Medical Center, surrounded by his extended family and friends. He was born on November 23, 1946 in Portland, the son of Peter and Gertrude (Macie) Bellino. He grew up in Portland, attending Cathedral Grammar school and Portland High School. Peter worked at Pete's Pizza in Woodfords Corner, Pio Beverage, as well as E.N Dobson and Sons Construction for ten years. He then started his own business in his early thirties, called PPR Foundations, which he ran for about 35 years. He was exceptionally proficient at building foundations for homes, churches, etc. He was a problem solver and was the person to call for the most difficult foundations, and people often did. Early in his retirement he invested and managed real estate for himself and his wife. Peter belonged to St. Peter's Catholic Church in Portland and used to be an altar server as a young boy. He also worked for many years at the St. Rocco's Bazaar. He was predeceased by his mother Gertrude Bellino, his father Peter Bellino, grandmother Theresa Macie, his aunt Arlene Weiss, his parents, Rocco and Mary Risbara, his sister Concetta Risbara Pallotta and her son, Stephen Pallotta. Peter is survived and will be greatly missed by his wife of 48 years, Candita (Pio) Risbara and his three daughters, Theresa O'Brien, Lucy Ruggieri and her husband Robert and Antoinette and her husband Lou Alexander, his brother, Rocco C. Risbara, Jr and his wife Marcia, his sister Carmel Crocce and her husband Louis and his sister Sandra St. Clair and her husband David, his sister Santa Maria (Bellino) Davis, his sister Carmella (Bellino) Nunes and her husband Robert and his sister Agrippina (Bellino) Nunes and her husband Jose. He is also survived by his grandchildren Nichelle, Alicia, Erika, Michael, Nicole and Michael , Jr., two great-grandchildren, Everett and Victor Kimball as well as several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Visiting hours will be held from 3 to 7pm on Friday, September 14, 2012 at A.T. Hutchins, LLC Funeral Home, 660 Brighton Ave, Portland. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home at 9am on Saturday, September 15, 2012 followed by a mass of Christian burial at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 72 Federal St, Portland at 10am. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, South Portland.
