Pauline M. DeLisle July 20, 1922 February 11, 2012 Westbrook, ME- Pauline M. DeLisle, 89, formerly of Waterville, ME, passed away on February 11, 2012 at her residence. She was born in Caribou, a daughter of Jerome and Laura (Lagassey) Hebert. As a young child, she and her family moved to Waterville where she resided for many years before moving to Westbrook in 2009. She enjoyed word search puzzles, reading and crocheting. She donated many of the blankets she made to the Labor & Delivery Department at Maine Medical Center and to the Bangor Troop Greeters to give to returning veterans with young children. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Russell L. DeLisle, in 1991; a sister, Lorraine King and a brother, Wilfred Hebert. She is survived by her children, Robert DeLisle and his wife Shelia of Arizona, Julie Kenyon and her husband Stanford of Westbrook; grandchildren, Christina Myers and her husband Rob of Arizona, Lisa Martin of Arizona, James Johnston of Westbrook, Brandon Johnston and his wife Becky of Oakland, ME; great-grandchildren, Alec Myers, Kaylee Myers, Delaney Johnston and Ashely Johnston; brother, Clifford Hebert of Waterville, ME. The family wishes to acknowledge the staff at Larrabee Village, VNA Hospice and Life Stages for their exceptional care and compassion. There will no visiting hours. A service at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be held in the spring. Arrangements are by Independent Death Care, Portland.
