Pauline Marie Claire Grondin Clark Chabot February 18, 1933 August 13, 2012 Pauline Marie Claire Grondin Clark Chabot, 79, of Kennbunk, passed away at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House on August 13, 2012 She was born and raised in Sanford, Maine, the middle child of Donat and Yvonne Grondin. In her early life she worked for Goodall Hospital, as a dental assistant for Dr. Johnson, DMD and as a shoe model for Stride-Rite Shoe where she met her first husband William George Clark. The new couple gave birth to their son William George Clark II, and lived in Saugus, Massachusetts while their home at Moody Beach, Maine was being built. Pauline continued to reside at the beach after her husband's unfortunate death. She was later married to Fernand A. Chabot for a short time and welcomed their daughter Rebecca Anne Chabot. Pauline devoted her life to her children. She enjoyed knitting, reading, and walks on the beach, which later in life became drives along the coast. She was a kind and generous soul that had a warm smile for everyone until the very end. Pauline leaves behind two loving children that will miss her horribly, Rebecca along with her spouse David and Bill along with his wife Laura. She had three wonderful grandchildren Derek, Megan and Julia, as well as two beautiful step-granddaughters Alexandra and Rachel. The family will have a private graveside service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Southern Maine, in her honor of the extraordinary care she received at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, Maine.
