Patricia L Paull March 22, 1938 November 22, 2015 PAULL, PATRICIA L. (Brown) 77 SCARBOROUGH- Patricia (Pat) Paull passed away peacefully at home, November 22, 2015 with her family by her side after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Pat was born March 22, 1938 in Bar Harbor, Maine, the daughter of Marion and L. Reginald Brown. She moved to Portland in the mid 1940's and grew up in Portland and was a graduate of Deering High School.~ Pat began working for Bartlett's Servicenter on Bracket Street in Portland and through hard work purchased the company in 1975 which she continued to run until 2002. Along with her husband of 34 years, Thomas Paull who predeceased her in 2010, they also owned and operated White Seal Laundry Center in Brunswick. Pat ended a long working career at Nelson & Small in Portland. Pat loved working with people and building strong bonds with many people over the years. She was known for her warmth, generosity and sense of humor. Her many, many friends and co-workers adored her down to earth persona and good nature. She loved animals and had many, but Meyer, her little "red head" Dachshund who lived to be nearly 17 was the love of her life. They are rejoined now never to be apart again. ~ Her favorite things were shopping, socializing, gardening, decorating, painting, making jewelry and creating wonderful things from anything she could find.~ She was predeceased by her parents, Marion and L. Reginald Brown, a brother Roger Brown and Sister Marilyn Flaherty.~ She leaves behind a daughter Nancy Morin and husband John of Mooresville NC; a son, David Harrington of Scarborough, 2 grandsons; Michael Morin and fiancée Linzy Greene of Ladson, SC, Matthew Morin and his wife Stacey of Concord, NC, 6 great grandchildren; a sister Cindy Robertson and her husband Bob of Holden MA and many nieces and nephews along with her long term fiancée Everett Boynton of Scarborough. The family wishes to thank the many family, friends and well-wishers who brightened Pat's last few weeks at home. We would also like to thank Maine Center for Cancer Medicine in Scarborough and Gosnell Hospice of Southern Maine for the care and support they provided. There will be a grave side service at 11AM Saturday November 28, 2015 at Brooklawn Memorial Park 2002 Congress Street Portland, ME with a celebration of Pat's life to follow at Parker's Restaurant 1349 Washington Ave Portland, ME. In lieu of flowers anyone wishing to honor Pat's memory is encouraged to make a donation in her name to Gosnell Memorial Hospice House 11 Hunnewell Rd, Scarborough, ME 04074
