Patricia O'Connor Lavallee "Pat" January 12, 1947 October 31, 2012 Scarborough - Patricia (Pat) O'Connor Lavallee, 65, of Gray, passed away peacefully at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 surrounded by her family. Pat was born in Portland on January 12, 1947. She was the daughter of Thomas G. and Eleanor (Carlson) O'Connor. Pat grew up in Portland and on Peaks Island. She attended Portland Schools and graduated from Portland High School. She worked for several local businesses, including Sun Savings Bank and Burnham and Morrill. While at B & M, she was responsible for the payroll operations. She ultimately retired from Central Maine Power Co. in 2008. Pat's greatest joys in life were her children and grandchildren. Along with her husband Paul, they were her world. She enjoyed her time vacationing in Florida in the winter with her husband. She also loved travelling with Paul to different places and experiencing different things. Paul's dedication and attentiveness for Pat during her illness was a true testament of their love for each other. Pat is predeceased by her parents, her brother Johnny O'Connor and her daughter Rose Marie Wallace. Besides her loving husband, Paul Lavallee, Pat leaves behind a son, Robert J. Wallace, Jr. and his wife Robin, of Buxton and her daughter, Christina M. Hutchins and her husband Michael, of Scarborough. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Justin R. Wallace, Amber L. Wallace, Nicholas M. Hutchins, Eleanor R. Hutchins, and Nathan R. Hutchins, along with two sisters, Mary E. Wakem and Margaret A. Locke and one brother Thomas P. O'Connor. She is also survived by several step-children, along with several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to a period of visitation on Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 4 to 6 pm at A.T. Hutchins Funeral and Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Avenue, Portland. Prayers will be recited on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 9:00 AM at the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 673 Stevens Avenue, Portland.
