Patricia Ann (Gorham) Curran September 4, 1944 February 28, 2016 Westbrook Patricia Ann (Gorham) Curran, 71, passed away peacefully February 28, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Portland, ME on September 4, 1944 a daughter of the late John and Camilla (Caiazzo) Gorham. Patricia attended Portland Schools and grew up on Munjoy Hill. In 1962, she married George W. Curran, Jr., and they left Maine for what was a 22 year Navy career before coming back to settle in Maine in 1984. She worked at Fairchild on the night shift before retiring after 15 years. Patricia enjoyed spending time with family and friends especially her three grandsons, Kaleb, Christopher and Joseph no matter what the occasion. In her spare time, she would read, travel, play cards and spend time on the computer playing games. Patricia was a good listener and was always available to talk to no matter what was going on in her life. She leaves behind her husband of 52 years, George W. Curran, Jr., a son, George III of Phoenix, AZ and a daughter, Kelle Remick of Buxton; three grandsons, Kaleb, Christopher and Joseph. She will be sadly missed by brothers, John and Michael and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Thomas and James, and by sisters, Mary Ann and Helen. The family would like to recognize the VNA Nurses, Liz, Donna and Sheila for their outstanding care and compassion to Patricia during her illness. Friends and family are invited to visiting hours from 10am to 12pm with funeral services to follow at 12pm, on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at A. T. Hutchins Funeral & Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Ave, Portland. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, South Portland.
