Patricia "Patti" Ann Greenwood August 6, 1963 December 9, 2016 Patricia ""Patti"" Ann Greenwood passed away at home surrounded by family and friends on December 9, 2016. She was born August 6, 1963 in Portland to Anson L. and Brenda J. (Bowie) O'Brien. Patti attended Cumberland schools growing up. She was a very hard worker and earned money at a young age while working at King's Department Store. She loved waitressing at Village Café until an injury from a boating accident forced her to dramatically change her life. Patti was a very outgoing people person. She was spunky with an infectious smile and will be missed by many. She was married for several years and had a son, Joshua Greenwood. Although disabled, Patti stayed determined and active. She loved being outside in the sun, horseback riding, going for rides, and spending time with family and friends. She was a member of the Portland Eagles Club #565 for over 20 years. Patti was preceded in death by her son, Joshua Greenwood and granddaughter, Brooklyn ""Brookie"" Greenwood. She is survived by: her parents, Anson and Brenda O'Brien of Cumberland; sister, Debbie Johnson and her husband Steve of South Portland; grandson, Noah Greenwood of Biddeford; grandsons, Carter and Canen Greenwood and their mother Kayla Burnham of Gorham; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; and special friends, Tina Woodbury and her family of Windham and Susan Eklund of Portland. Patti's family and friends would like to thank the nurses and staff of VNA Home Health and Hospice for their loving care. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM, followed by a memorial service at 1:30 PM on Friday, December 16, 2016 at A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home. A celebration of Patti's life will follow the memorial service from 3:00-6:00 PM at the Portland Eagles Club #565 (184 St. John St., Portland, ME 04102).
