Normand Gerard St. Ours December 24, 1957 July 12, 2016 Normand Gerard St. Ours (Stormin Norman) passed peacefully with family by his side on July 12, 2016. He was born in Biddeford, Maine on December 24, 1957, the son of Ernest and Alice Morin St. Ours. Normand attended Biddeford schools and graduated from Biddeford High School in 1978. He was a member of the BHS band as a drummer. He served in the United States Navy and upon discharge worked at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard as a painter/ welder, retiring in 2012 due to health issues. Normand loved to play his guitar, broomball, cribbage, horseshoes and the beach. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping, and was a fan of all New England sports teams, but mostly he enjoyed spending time with family and playing his guitar for them. Normand was predeceased by his father Ernest St. Ours in 1984 and his mother Alice St. Ours in 1992. He is survived by his Wife Valerie (Goodine) St. Ours; 4 sons , Normand St. Ours Jr, Samuel St. Ours, Joshua Andrew St. Ours, Nicholas Ernest St. Ours; 3 Step Children Christopher Mellin, Melissa Mellin, and Maryanne Mellin; 2 grandsons Benjamin St. Ours, and Kellan St. Ours; a granddaughter Jasmine Rose, and another granddaughter due in September; a brother Richard St. Ours and his wife Sharon; 7 sisters Priscille Hatch and Jerry Sirois, Madeleine Adams and her husband Richard, Doris Poirier, Paulette Cote and her husband Richard, Pauline Poirier and her husband Ronald, Twin sister Anita Lizotte and her husband Douglas, and Diana Alden and her husband Mark; as well as many nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to visiting hours from 9:30 to 11 am on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at A.T. Hutchins Funeral and Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Ave, Portland.
