South Portland, Maine Myrna Evelyn Hart passed away on the morning of October 30th in South Portland, Maine, after a long and full life. Myrna was born on May 31st, 1941 to George and Grace (Littlefield) Dill and was a South Portland resident. Myrna enjoyed shopping for bargains, sunbathing and walking at the beach, and spending time with friends and family. She loved a good cheeseburger from Harmon's, Saturday drives with her good friend Marion, and finding treasures at yard sales. Myrna was predeceased by her parents George and Grace Dill, her brothers Mickey and Jack Dill, her sister Faye Davis, her daughter Patricia "Patty" Monterio, and her son Michael Monterio. She is survived by her son Joseph Monterio, and his wife Bernadette, of Elmira, New York, daughters Mary Lee Monterio of South Portland and Cheri (Monterio) Kennedy and her husband Yates, of Harrison, grandchildren Nicole Booker Reynolds, Misty McFarland, Joseph Monterio, Mackenzie Monterio, Olivia Hamlin, and Elizabeth Kennedy, great grandchildren Greyson Reynolds, Michael Reynolds, and Jonah Monterio, and many extended family and lifelong friends. Thank you to the wonderful people at Pinnacle Health and Beacon Hospice for their outstanding care of Myrna these last few years. A service honoring Myrna's life will be held at 10:00 am Monday, November 4, 2024 at A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home, 660 Brighton Avenue. Burial will be private.
