Michele Lynn Solinko April 5, 1971 October 18, 2013 Michele Lynn (Mitchell) Solinko, 42, of Westbrook, who entered eternal life on Friday, October 18, 2013 at her home. She was born in Portland, a daughter to the late Victor C. Mitchell, Sr. and Helen Grant- Hodgkin. Michele was a graduate of Portland High School Class of '89 and had followed her passion of helping others as a C.N.A., but the job she was most proud of was being a wife & mother. Her children meant everything to her, she enjoyed spending time with family, she was amazing as was being a wife & mother. She was a devoted and loving person to all the lives she came in touch with. She loved get togethers and having family cookouts. Enjoying a drink with family and friends by her late night campfire. As long as her family and children where close by, this always brought her comfort and would bring a smile to her face. No matter where Michele would be, she would make you laugh and smile from ear to ear. She enjoyed listening to music and taking long drives. Michele was predeceased by her father Victor C. Mitchell Sr., she is survived by her loving mother Helen (Grant) Hodgkin and husband Paul. Father of children Theodore Solinko , her loving children Nevin P. Helms Jr. , Heather (Solinko) Santamore and husband Ralph, all of Westbrook, Jessica (Solinko) Pepin and husband Jerry of Auburn, Amanda Solinko of Portland: Teddy Solinko of Massachusetts, younger children Cassandra, Toni and Brady Solinko all of Westbrook Loving son Eric who has always been in her heart. She loved all of her 6 grandchildren and was so excited about her approaching new grandson. Sisters, Lisa (Mitchell) Milliken; Dotti (Mitchell) Gribbin-Boucher ; Amy Mitchell, and fiancé Brian LeClair, Kayla Hodgkin and brother Victor Mitchell and wife Kimberly as well as all her loving nieces and nephews. Michele's spirit is carried on by all who loved her. Visiting hours will be held from 4-7 pm on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013 at A.T. Hutchins Funeral & Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Ave. Portland. A graveside service will be held at 11am on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2013 at Forest City Cemetery, Lincoln St., South Portland. Please join the family in remembering Michele (Mitchell) Solinko with a celebration of life gathering at American Legion Hall on Dunn St. Westbrook, following burial.
