Mary Rose (Alves) Therriault March 10, 1962 September 21, 2014 -Portland Mary Rose (Alves) Therriault (52) lifelong resident of Portland passed away unexpectedly at her home on September 21, 2014. She was born in Portland on March 10, 1962 to Anthony Jr. and Erlene (Scovil) Alves. Her love for her family was most special to her. Mary especially loved her granddaughter Macy for whom she would often say ""Macy Rose I love you more than all the leaves on all the trees."" She was always willing to help those who needed her. Volunteering for many organizations such as the Tri for the Cure, Ronald McDonald House, and Maine Cancer Foundation brought her great joy. Mary spent her life dedicated to helping others. She worked in the hospitality field and left a lasting impression, her laugh and smile was infectious. Mary was predeceased by her father Anthony Alves Jr. She is survived by: her mother Erlene Alves of Scarborough; her son Robbie Berwick and his wife Courtney of Florida; her daughter Jessica, her husband Brian Mills, and granddaughter Macy Rose of Litchfield; her three brothers Rick Wright and his wife Ann of Kentucky, James Wright and his wife Bunny of Oklahoma, Tony of Portland; two sisters Angie Palestini and her husband Nick and Katherine Rose and her partner Patti Boucher all of Portland. She will also be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Family and friends are invited to visiting hours from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Saturday September 27, 2014 at A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home 660 Brighton Ave. Portland, ME 04102. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home immediately following the visiting hours at 3:00 pm.
