Mary Priscilla Bowden June 13, 1925 June 1, 2014 Portland - Mary Priscilla Bowden, 88, of Portland passed away on June 1, 2014 surrounded by family. She was born on June 13, 1925 in Eastport, the daughter of George and Clytie (Carter) McGregor. Mary worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Pineland Center. She loved the Red Sox, vacationing and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a very loving grandmother. Mary was predeceased by her parents, including her step-father, Roy Bishop, a brother, William McGregor and a daughter, Gail Winslow. She is survived by her children; Dennis Bowden of Portland, Marleen Allen and her husband Robert, Sr. of Portland, William Bowden and his wife Gail of Portland, Clytie Bello of New Jersey, Vicki Gowen and her husband Robert, Sr. of Bangor, and Eugene Bowden and his wife Linda of Westbrook. She is also survived by her sister, Joyce Bowden, 25 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, three nephews and a niece. A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 492 Ocean Ave, Portland on Wednesday, June 4 at 11 am.
