Mary Louise Blakeney September 29, 1959 February 5, 2013 Mary Louise Blakeney (Mary Lou) 53 of Old Orchard Beach passed away peacefully with her family by her side on February 5, 2013 at The Gosnell House. Mary was born September 25, 1959 in Homestead Florida to Albert M Blakeney and Geraldine J (Gilmore) Francis. She attended schools in Florida, Virginia, Maine and Texas due to the many travels of a military family. She graduated from Pettus High School in Texas. She has lived in many states, and finally settled down in Maine, but her favorite was always the Virgin Islands. She loved to sail the bright blue waters and told many of its most beautiful sunsets she has ever seen. With her dog Coki by her side she lived on the sea for a few years and told us all of her amazing adventure there... Mary loved to be with family and cherished all the wonderful memories she shared with all. She had a big heart and would help anyone in need if she could. She was a free spirit who lived life her way and she will be dearly missed by all. Mary leaves behind her father Albert M Blakeney and Wife Dee of Corpus Christi, TX , Mother Geraldine J (Gilmore) Francis of Portland , her four children , Judith Christman , Jessica Gelabert and husband Peter, Michael Christman all from Texas and Sean Foley of Old Orchard Beach. And five grandchildren in Texas. Sisters , Carol Blakeney of Portland, Donna Blakeney of So Portland, Laura Waterhouse and husband James of New Gloucester , and brother Stephen Francis of Portland. And Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews, cousins and many friends. We would like to thank the Gosnell House for the wonderful care they gave to our loved one. Friends and family are invited to visiting hours from 2 - 4 pm, with a memorial service at 4pm on Sunday, February 10, 2013 at will be held at the AT Hutchins Funeral and Cremation Services at 660 Brighton Ave, Portland.
