Obituary

Mark Warren Robinson passed away peacefully on February 25, 2026, at the age of 62 following complications from a serious stroke. He was born on April 30, 1963, in Norwalk, Connecticut, to Brenda Sileo and Edward Robinson, who both immigrated from England.

Mark is survived by his children, Michael Robinson (38), Corey Robinson (36), and Erin Whiting (28), along with their spouses and children; and by his brothers, Charlie Robinson and Mickey Sileo, Timmy Sileo, and their families.

In his younger years, Mark was a hard worker who loved playing sports and living life to the fullest. His children will always remember his adventurous and chaotic stories of growing up in Norwalk. Most of all, they will remember how he met their mother, Pam, through summer camp and mutual friends. Mark and Pam remained together and later married in Connecticut at the ages of 21 and 24. Soon after, they welcomed their first son, Michael, followed by Corey, and later their daughter, Erin.

Mark and Pam spent their early years in Connecticut before moving to Maine, where they eventually purchased their forever home in North Waterboro. Mark wore many hats and excelled at all of them, but his favorite work was as a landscape designer for a company based in Buxton. He loved sharing his knowledge and had a special habit of bringing home “less than desirable” plants, shrubs, and trees, nursing them back to health and transforming them into a beautiful yard for his family to enjoy.

When he wasn’t working, Mark loved fishing, camping with family, and attending NASCAR races in Loudon, New Hampshire. He taught his children many lessons in life—how to work hard, solve problems, get their hands dirty, and most importantly, what it means to love someone in sickness and in health.

In his late 40s, Mark became a full-time caregiver for Pam as she battled chronic illness and frequent hospitalizations. Although she stabilized for a time, she passed away in 2018 at the age of 52. Throughout it all, Mark remained by her side, devoted to her care. After her passing, he missed her deeply, as life was never quite the same.

In his later years, Mark was retired but remained active in maintaining his mother’s home. He cherished time with his grandchildren, Lily Robinson (12) and Rowan Whiting (2), and was looking forward to meeting his newest granddaughter, expected in July 2026.

Mark will also be deeply missed by his friends, who meant a great deal to him throughout his life. He was known for his stories, his sense of humor, and his willingness to be a listening ear and a helping hand. The friendships he built over the years were important to him, and those who knew him will remember him with great fondness.

Mark was predeceased by his mother, Brenda Sileo, who passed exactly one month before him; his stepfather, Michael Sileo, for whom he always expressed deep gratitude; and his beloved wife of 30 years, Pamela Robinson. We take comfort in imagining Mark and Pam reunited, along with the many pets they loved over the years.

An intimate celebration of life will take place in May with close family and friends. If you would like to honor Mark with a gift, memorial donations may be made to your favorite animal refuge in his memory.
