Marjory V. Auble July 31, 2012 Marjory V. Auble, 90, of Cumberland, Maine passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2012 after a brief illness. Marjory was born in Barberton, Ohio, the daughter of Andrew and Bertha Velloney. She graduated from Heidelberg College in 1942 and received her teaching degree from New York State University in 1966. Marjory began her career as a Nutrition Agent for Cooperative Extension through Cornell University in Troy, New York before becoming County Coordinator of Greene County Cooperative Extension in Cairo, New York until her retirement in 1984. Marjory married Harry B. Auble, May 6, 1945, during his service in WWII. After starting their family in Tiffin, Ohio they relocated to New York State living first in Corning, then Lowville prior to moving to East Greenbush, before their last move to South Westerlo, NY. Marjory is survived by her husband of 67 years and her two daughters, Patricia Moisan of Jacksonville, FL and Phyllis Dickey of Cumberland, Maine. Predeceased by her third daughter in 2001, Kathleen Mann of Randolph, Vermont. Marjory leaves behind three grandchildren, Marianne Richardson of Jacksonville, FL, Daniel Moisan of Warwick, RI and Maggie Dickey of Cumberland, Maine. Marjory also leaves behind two great grandchildren, Stella and Elijah Richardson, both of Jacksonville, FL. Marjory spent her retirement years travelling with her granddaughter Maggie, playing bridge and walking the beaches of South Carolina. At her request, there will be no funeral services or viewing.
