Marilyn B. Turner June 11, 1943 March 25, 2014 Marilyn B. Turner passed away on March 25, 2014 after a short illness surrounded by her family. She will be sadly missed by all. She was born on February 18, 1925, a daughter of Elizabeth and William Brown of Westbrook, Maine. She was a graduate of Westbrook High School class of 1943. On June 11, 1943 she married William C. Turner, who predeceased her in 2003. She worked for several years at Mercy Hospital, and she loved being a wife, mom, and grandma. She enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles, Perry Mason, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her 3 sons: Dave and his wife Marcia of El Paso, Texas, Bob and his wife Debbie of Windham, Steve and his wife Martha of Portland, her daughter Sue and her boyfriend Dick Stewart of Windham, her brother George Brown of Vermont, and her sister Arlene Hutto of Buxton. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren: Brad, Greg, Marcy, Matt, Scott, Laura, Ben, Sam, Jeremy, and Gabe, and 10 great-grandchildren. Marilyn's family would like to thank the Maine Medical Center nurses and staff in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit in Portland for the care that they provided her. Visiting will be at A.T. Hutchins, 660 Brighton Avenue in Portland from 12pm to 1pm on Saturday, March 29, followed by a memorial service at 1 pm. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, Westbrook in the spring.
