Marilyn Kaserman March 27, 1937 January 16, 2012 Scarborough - Marilyn Kaserman, 74, of Gorham, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 16, 2012. She was born in Portland on March 27, 1937, the daughter of Charles and Mary (Hachey) Grant. She later moved to Rumford and graduated from Stephens High School. She also graduated from New England Business College then worked at New Telephone Co. before becoming a homemaker. Marilyn was predeceased by a brother, C. Robert Grant, and both of her parents. She leaves behind her husband of 51 years, Rudolf, of Gorham; sister-in-law, Janice Grant of Gorham; sister Jeanine Ford and her husband Basil of Los Altos, CA; brother Donald Grant and his wife Diantha of Jacksonville, FL; daughter Joanna Mooney and her husband Mark of Scarborough; son Kevin Kaserman and his wife Denise of Falmouth; daughter Janine Kaserman and her husband Dean Mazziotti of Portland; five grandchildren Julia, Mason, Kyle, Aaron, and Johanna; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 4 - 6 p.m. at Independent Death Care, 660 Brighton Ave., Portland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, January 20, 2012 at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 268 Brown St., Westbrook followed by interment in Calvary Cemetery, South Portland.
