Margery Mable Hodgkin September 12, 1931 January 11, 2016 Portland Margery M. Hodgkin, 84 died suddenly on January 11, 2016 at Maine Medical Center. She was born in Gray, ME the daughter of the late Walter and Minnie Golding. Margery attended school in Gray. Margery was an avid Yankee fan which she was able to enjoy after her retirement from the Salvation Army where she worked as a sorter. She was predeceased by her husband, Paul R. Hodgkin, Sr., four siblings, and a grandson, Thomas Curlew, Jr. Survivors include her children, Sharyn Bailey (and Fitz), Steven Hodgkin, Loveiner Cooledge (and Ken) all of Portland, Paul Hodgkin Jr. (and Helen) of Limington, Robin Curby, Deena Kruse (and Chris) of Port St. Lucie, FL and Paulet Michaud (and Ray) of Scarborough, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the Portland First Responders and staff at the Portland Center for Assisted Living for their care and support. A Celebration of life will be held at the A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Avenue, Portland on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 12:30PM. Relatives and friends are welcome to visit with the family on Monday from 11:30AM until the hour of the service. Spring burial will be in the Brooklawn Cemetery, Portland.
