Portland-Madeline Fornisano,88, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Portland. She was born on October 13, 1932 in Portland the daughter of Giro and Rosa (Penna) Fornisano. She is survived by her two sisters Mary Lapomarda and Theresa Cockrell and her husband Lyell, one niece Rosemary Beattie, a great nephew James Beattie, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.   In lieu of flowers  memorial donations can be made to St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church 72 Federal Street, Portland, Maine 04101 A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Portland. Burial will follow in New Calvary Cemetery.
