Mabel C. Boucher January 4, 1932 April 11, 2016 Dayton Photo Mabel C. Boucher, 84 died peacefully at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough on April 11, 2016. She was born January 4, 1932 in Biddeford, the daughter of the late Ernest and Justine (Lessard) Laliberte. She lived in Biddeford and married Octave ""Butch"" Boucher. They raised their family in Biddeford and eventually built and moved into their dream home in Dayton, ME where they lived for over thirty five years. Mabel was very talented and good at every endeavor. She was an expert weaver at Pepperel Mills then employed at Saco Defense where she was presented with an ""Award of Excellence"" by Secretary of Defense, William Cohen. She enjoyed gardening, music, decorating and entertaining where she was able to express her appreciation of beauty in all things. She was predeceased by her husband and grandson, Andrew. She will be deeply missed by her surviving family, a daughter, Rolande, a son, Jerome, granddaughter, Desiree and by two daughter-in-laws, Katherine Alves and Lisa Boucher. A graveside ceremony is planned for a future date in Biddeford, ME. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, 180 US Route 1, Scarborough, ME 04074.
