Falmouth-Kathryn Duston, 92, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2020 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. She was born on November 14, 1928 in Winthrop Massachusetts the daughter of Alfred and Mary (Tierney) Mortimer. She attended Endicott College. Kathryn married and lived in Virginia raising her two children Jeff who was an architectural historian who wrote two books and Karen who was a painter in Ohio. She married Charles Duston in 1986 and lived in Maine with him throughout their 22 years of marriage. After she married Charles, she took all eight of his children into her heart as if they were her own. They all loved her dearly and will mourn her loss. She loved horses, dogs and walking. She had a great sense of humor and always said everything was "tip top". One of her favorite quotes was "With every rising Sun, think of your life as just begun". She is predeceased by her son, Jeff O Dell, her daughter, Karen O Dell, her stepson John Duston and her husband Charles Duston. She leaves her seven stepchildren Carol Petersen, Susan Beraglia, Janet Tiano, Robert Duston, Nancy Giansante, Ellen Duston, and Anne Noeth.
