Lorraine Edna Webster October 15, 1942 April 10, 2012 Portland - Lorraine Edna Webster 69, passed away at Seaside Nursing home on April 10, 2012, after a long illness. Born on Oct.15, 1942, she was the daughter of Marie and Percy Taber. Lorraine was raised in Portland and attended Portland schools. Lorraine worked for PROP childcare services at Sagamore community center for 30 years before retiring. Lorraine's passion was her family, family gatherings and cooking. She was always smiling and was there for anyone who needed her. She was outgoing, had a great sense of humor and could always make you laugh. Lorraine was predeceased by her mother and father, a brother Michael Taber and a niece Tina Keites. She is survived by her husband Deane Webster, Sr. of 31 years; her sisters Mary Keites, Shirley Taber, Arlene Reichert, and Barbra Sampson, along with her brother Warner Johnson. She is also survived by her children Kevin Munson and his wife Cherie Neptune, David Munson and his wife Anne, Kim Munson, Cathy Webster, Deane Webster Jr. and Sandra McCaffrey and her husband Josh. She is survived by 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held at A.T. Hutchins Funeral and Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Ave., Portland. There will be a graveside service on April 17, 2012 at 10:30 AM at Evergreen Cemetery on Stevens Ave in Portland. Following the ceremony a remembrance of Lorraine will be held at the Sagamore Community Building at 21 Popham St. We would like to thank Seaside nursing home for the excellent care for Lorraine Webster during her stay.
