Linda E. Norton June 20, 1946 June 7, 2016 Portland- Linda E. Norton, 69 of Congress St. died Tuesday June 7, 2016 after a courageous battle of breast cancer. She was born in Portland on June 20, 1946. Linda worked at Maine Medical Center for 27 years where she formed many wonderful relationships. She enjoyed life to the fullest and was always wearing vibrant colors. Even though she was in pain daily she had a smile that would light up a room. She had a positive outlook on life and loved to make people smile and laugh. She resided at North School Apartments where she enjoyed spending her time people watching and making sure her building was safe. She was the go to person that every resident would go to if they needed assistance. She is survived by her caregiver and niece Barbara Spiller, her step-son Mark Turner, many nieces, nephew and the last survivor of Linda's 8 siblings is her brother Gordon Norton.
