Lillian Frances (Kopacz) Norton September 25, 1941 May 2, 2014 Portland - Lillian Frances (Kopacz) Norton, 72, of Portland passed away on May 2, 2014 at the Gosnell House with family and friends by her side. She was born on September 25, 1941 in Portland, a daughter of Stanley and Louise (Babbidge) Kopacz. Lillian worked for many years as a stitcher at Sebago Moc. She had many interests including; knitting, boating, fishing and collecting angels, which became an important symbol for her during her illness. Lillian was predeceased by her parents, her first husband Edumond Dumond, a brother Walter Kopacz and a son, Michael Dumond. She is survived by her husband, John ""Jack"" Norton, Jr., a sister Eleanor Mead and her husband Milton, a brother William Kopacz and his wife Sheila, a son Edmond Dumond and his wife Laurene and grandchildren Brandon, Kyle, Maresa, Adrianna, Michael and Christopher Dumond and his companion Kalya Menario and a great grandson, Caden Dumond. She is also survived by her step-daughter Ann Conner and her husband David, step-daughter, Patricia Cowan and her husband David and their children Shauni and Shelby and step-daughter Marcia Jones and her husband Stephen and their children Corey, Riley and Audrey. She also leaves behind her many close friends from throughout her life, especially her years at Red Bank and with Sebago Moc. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 11:00am at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 492 Ocean Ave, Portland. Burial will be private at Calvary Cemetery.
