Lester Edward Brown November 20, 1954 July 26, 2013 Portland - Lester Edward Brown, 58, died Friday July 26, 2013 peacefully at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice house with his family by his side. Lester was born on November 20, 1954 to the late Parker and Barbara Brown. Lester grew up on his family's farm in Cape Elizabeth and graduated from Cape Elizabeth High School. Lester was a dedicated husband and father. He had a very strong work ethic and spent his last twenty years as a glazier for Cumberland County Glass. Lester loved boating and had a passion for growing beautiful Dahlias. He was an avid Boston Red Sox and Jimmy Buffett fan. Lester is survived by the love of his life, best friend and wife of 14 years, Cynthia Brown, his two sons Eddie Cartonio and Corey Brown, his Daughter in-law Hannah Maltby and grandson Valentino Cartonio. He is also survived by his brothers Charles, James and Dennis, half-brothers Fredrick, Kenneth and half-sister Cheryl Wilson. Close friends and family are welcome to his home at 217 Stevens Ave Portland on Friday, August 2, 2013 at one o'clock for sea shanty's and fish tales. Arrangements are under the care of A.T.
