Lawrence R. Mosher "Larry" July 11, 1931 April 14, 2012 Lawrence R. Mosher "Larry" of Windham, Maine passed away peacefully at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House on Saturday, April 14, 2012 after a long illness, which he bravely fought. He was born in Livermore Falls on July 11, 1931, the son of Robert and Florence Trainer Mosher. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and fought in the Korean War. Anyone who knew him was 100% aware that he was a staunch Democrat. He was also a union carpenter, he could build anything and everything and he did. He was very skilled and family and friends benefited by his expertise. Larry, also known as Pup or Bumpa, was an avid outdoorsman. He really looked forward to spring time to put his boat in the water and fish with his friends. We all have wonderful memories of "Camp Time"", boating, swimming, tubing, snowmobiling, ice skating, fishing derbies on the Bayou, fabulous family gatherings and over the top holidays. Larry was predeceased by his wife, Geraldine Smith Mosher. He is survived by his long time companion, Margaret Peggy Libby, his family, Carole and Leroy Wormell, Cynthia and Peter Wormell and Raymond Eliason, his grandchildren Lee III, Chad, Caroline, Peter, Jeffrey, Jason and Jessica, and several great-grandchildren. Pup will be missed by all of us. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, April 19, 2012 at A.T. Hutchins Funeral and Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Ave., Portland, Maine. The family would like to thank Southern Maine Hospice and the Gosnell House for their wonderful care and kindness.
