Katherine M. Frank Kathy August 27, 1951 June 28, 2013 Portland - Katherine M. (Pellegrino) Frank, 61 of Gorham, passed away at Maine Medical Center on June 28, 2013. She was born in Portland on August 27, 1951, the daughter of James ""Jimmy"" and Mary (Johnson) Pellegrino. Kathy grew up in Portland, graduating from Portland High School in 1969. Kathy married Karl Frank in 1977 and the two lived in Gorham for the past 29 years where they raised their two children. She worked for the past 21 years for Marshall & Libby. Kathy had many passions in life; she loved reading, camping and even learned to fly fish over the last four years. She loved to be out on the river with her husband. Kathy's biggest passion however, was her love for her family. Whether it was being her children's biggest fan at their sporting events, spending time with her husband or having fun at countless family events; time with her family was invaluable. Kathy will be remembered for many things, not the least of which was her infectious laugh, which will be greatly missed by everyone that knew and loved her. Kathy was predeceased by her father, Jimmy. She is survived by her husband Karl, her son Ian Frank, his fiancé Caitlin and her daughter, Elise Frank. She is also survived by her mother Mary Pellegrino, her sister Ann New and her husband David and her brother Martin Pellegrino and his wife Denise as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and her extended family and friends. Karl, Elise, Ian and Caitlin would like to thank all of Kathy's family and their friends who have been so supportive during this difficult time.
