Karen C. (Morse) Reynolds November 18, 1948 November 3, 2014 Karen C. (Morse) Reynolds, 65, of Gorham, went peacefully to join her mother, father and son Michael in heaven on November 3, 2014 after valiantly fighting a long illness. She was surrounded by the love of her family and many friends. Karen was born on November 18, 1948, the first of thirteen children, to Phyllis Manzer Morse and Lawrence Morse. She grew up in Portland and attended Portland Schools. She is survived by her Husband, Larry Reynolds and five of her children, Tammy Reynolds, Bruce Rideout, Gerald Scott Rideout, Alden Mason, and Leland Mason. She was predeceased by her son Michael Rideout, who passed away in 1990. She is also survived by two step-children, Laurie Reynolds and David Watts and her special little boy, Cosmo. Karen is also survived by her siblings, Barbara, Christine, David , Geraldine, Phyllis, Larry, Althea, Virginia, Shirley, Johnny and Diane. She was predeceased by an infant sister, Beverly. She also leaves behind a large extended family including eleven grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Karen worked at VIP Charter Coaches for many years but most of her years were spent as a homemaker caring for her family. Karen enjoyed being at home more than anyplace else. She was fond of her favorite television programs, spending time with her family and friends and snuggling with her dog, Cosmo. Karen was an incredibly strong willed woman with a heart of gold. She was always kind and open hearted to those that needed her. Her passing has left a giant void in the hearts and souls of all that love her. Family and friends are invited to a memorial visitation from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday November 8, 2014 at A.T. Hutchins Funeral and Cremation Services 660 Brighton Ave. Portland, ME 04102. A memorial service will immediately follow at 4:00 pm on Saturday at A.T. Hutchins Funeral and Cremation Services.
