John J. Moynihan August 10, 2012 John J Moynihan of Alton Bay, NH., formerly, of Charlestown, MA., died August 10, 2012 after a lengthy illness. He was the devoted son of the late Dorothy F. (Green) Moynihan. John was born in Somerville and raised in Charlestown. After school ,he joined the Army, serving in Germany. John is survived by hisaunt Margaret Green of Braintree, and his cousins Peggy Gooden of San Diego ,CA, Patricia Green of Quincy, Janet Bianchini of Middleboro and Daniel Green of Braintree. John is a late employee of the City of Boston Fire Department, Fire Alarm Division. A memorial service for John will be held Monday , August 20, 2012 at 9 am at St Thomas More Parish, 8 Hawthorne Rd.
