John Raymond Malloy passed away on February 3, 2017.  He was born June 1, 1961 and raised in Portland, Maine.  He was a graduate of Portland High School.  John is predeceased by his parents, William A. Malloy, Sr. and Susan Malloy (Guidi), older brothers Eugene and Wayne, as well as, his grandparents and numerous aunts and uncles.  He is survived by his son Wil Piaskowski, his sister Mary Jo Piaskowski and her husband Raymond and a brother William A. Malloy, Jr. and his wife Rhonda, and several nieces and nephews.  John was a hardworking man, as those who knew him would attest.  He spent a good part of his life scrapping and recycling metal materials.  He loved construction and if you wanted to know what was being built or torn down around town, he was the guy to ask.  No service is planned at this time, rather a celebration of his life is to be planned for early June.  Memorials contributions can be made to the Preble Resource Center, Portland Maine.
