John F. Gallant November 13, 1933 June 17, 2014 John F. Gallant, 80, passed away at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House on June 17, 2014 after a short stay. John was born in Portland on November 13, 1933 to the late Joseph and Julie (Beaulieu) Gallant. He graduated from Cheverus High School in 1952. John joined the US Air Force in 1952 and was stationed in Korea until 1956. John married Janet Napolitano at St. Joseph's Church on June 4, 1960 and recently celebrated their 54th wedding anniversary. He worked for many years as a sales representative for food brokerage firms. In addition to his parents John is predeceased by his sister Lorraine Crawford. John is survived by his wife Janet (Napolitano) Gallant of Portland, his son Paul V. Gallant of South Portland, his brother Joseph and his wife Rita of Bangor, his sister Eileen and her late husband Chester Daicy of South Portland, his sister Joan and her husband Benedetto Lancia of Portland, his sister Doreen and her late husband Thomas Cook of South Portland, and several nieces and nephews
