Jennifer Christine Vanhecker,38 of South Portland, passed away unexpectedly on Friday November 17, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Gowanda, New York on March 8, 1985, daughter of Gregory A. and Victoria L. (Giordani) Vanhecker. Jennifer's career choices were ones that always helped people in need, and her heart Was always open to all. She always stayed headfirst to overcome life's struggles as she Helped others. Portland and her community welcomed her with open arms, love and support, and I Cannot thank them enough. She was proud to be a part of it. Jennifer was predeceased by her mother Victoria on November 15, 2018. She is survived by her father Gregory & stepmother Yolanda (Gina) Vanhecker, a sister Alina and nephew Freddie. Visitation will be 4-6 Pm on Friday December 1st at A.T. Hutchins Funeral Home, 660 Brighton Avenue, And where a celebration of Jennifer's life will be held 11 Am Saturday December 2nd.
