Jeffrey J. Blackwell of Standish, Maine  joined his wife, Susan (Bentzen) Blackwell in Heaven on Tuesday, February 20, 2018.  Jeffrey was born August 24, 1950, in Albany, N.Y.   He is survived by his mother Virginia (Tobin) Blackwell and brothers Christopher M. Blackwell and William B. (Paula) Blackwell. He was predeceased by his father William C. Blackwell and son Benjamin. On July 8, 1972 he married the late Susan (Bentzen) Blackwell and is survived by his daughter Jessica and son Patrick, and his best buddy; his grandson Jack.  He is also survived by several nephews and nieces and cousins. Jeffrey was a graduate of Albany Academy and St. Michael's College in VT. For over 30 years Mr. Blackwell worked in Hudson NY as a federal agent for Social Security Administration. He then retired to Standish, ME with his wife Susan. Jeffrey can best be described as an intelligent, quirky individual with incredible patience.  Ever the eccentric; he enjoyed horse racing, painting, gardening, playing music, watching Jeopardy and his NY Giants.  Services will be forthcoming.
