Jayne C. Giese January 22, 1966 November 23, 2012 Yarmouth- Jayne C. Giese, 46, of Ledge Road, passed away on November 23, 2012 at her residence following a 6 year struggle with breast cancer. She was born in Freeport, NY, a daughter of Robert G. and Carole (Haugh) Ehmann. She grew up in Merrick, NY and graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1984. She graduated from Fordham and Hofstra University with a Master's Degree in Education. On December 19, 1992, she married George Giese and resided in Portland, later moving to Yarmouth raising two children. Jayne had a career in special education at MSAD 75 in Topsham. She was loved dearly by her family and friends and will be missed by all. Surviving members of her family include her husband, George J. Giese; daughter, Georgia C. Giese (13); son, William E. Giese (10); parents of Merrick, NY; siblings Robert C. Ehmann, Montauk, NY; Jill A. Heath of Concord, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Sacred Heart Church, 326 Main St. Yarmouth. A luncheon will be announced immediately after the Mass.
