Portland Jacqueline B. Armstrong passed away peacefully on January 22, 2018 at age 91.  After graduating from South Portland High School, Jackie worked for the U.S. Government in Washington before returning to Maine and employment in South Portland.   Jackie met Phillip, they fell in love, got married, had 5 children, 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  Jacqueline lived a life of devotion to her family and a love of God.   Jackie, Phillip, and their family enjoyed travels throughout the United States over the years including Hawaii, Lake Tahoe and much of Canada. Survivors include Phillip, her husband of, 70 years.  Daughter Linda, son Steven and wife Laurie, son Allan and wife Peggy, son Matthew, son Jason and wife Grace.  Grandchildren Justin, Ben, Stacie, Stevie, Jessica and Zachary, as well as three great grandchildren  Ruby Lovely, Michael and Tina. Jackie's passing leaves a great void, but her life and her love will inspire and comfort all who knew her. Services will be private.
