Henry F. Sudbay January 24, 1938 January 23, 2013 Scarborough-- Henry F (Hank) Sudbay, 74 of Portland Maine, passed on January 23, 2013. Hank, a lifelong resident of Portland, was born in Portland on January 24 1938. He is the son of Charles Clifford Sudbay and Dorothea Fossett. Hank attended local schools, graduating from Deering High in 1957. While at Deering, Hank excelled in sports especially football and on the field was known as "Hammerin Hank". After graduating he served in the U.S. Marine Corps. Upon returning home Hank was employed by the U.S Postal Service as a Mail Handler until his retirement. His interest in sports continued after high school. He enjoyed watching many sports but always held a fondness for Deering High school teams. Hank is survived by his brother Charles (Chuck) Sudbay of Portland and also his daughters; Terri L Sudbay Linehan and her husband Jim Linehan, Laura Sudbay Worthing and her husband Barry Worthing and Suzan F Sudbay Anderson; his 3 grand-children Jacob D Anderson, Cara E Worthing and PatrickJ Linehan all of Portland.
