Henry Carl Seekamp, Jr. "Hank" January 10, 1972 January 19, 2015 Henry Carl Seekamp, Jr. ""Hank"", 43, of South Portland, passed away on January 19, 2015 after a brief illness. Hank was the son of Henry and Doris (Baker) Seekamp, Sr. He was born in Jamaica, New York on January 10, 1972. His family moved to Maine when he was 12 years old. After graduating from Falmouth High School, Hank joined the United States Air Force and was an Airman, 1st Class. After his service in the Air Force, Hank returned to Maine. He married Theresa (Hutchins) in April of 2006. Hank loved music, especially country and classic rock. He also enjoyed American muscle cars and Lionel trains, which was a hobby he shared with his father and uncle. He dedicated much of his time to volunteering, including at St. Peter's Church, where he was also a Eucharistic minister, as well at the Maine Veterans' Homes. He was a devoted husband to Theresa and father to their daughter, Bernadette. Hank was predeceased by his grandparents, his aunt Ingrid Brown, uncle Bob Baker and uncle Richard Dublis. He is survived by his parents Henry and Doris, his wife Theresa, their daughter Bernadette, his father and mother-in law Michael and Donna Hutchins, Sr., his aunt Janet Dublis and her sons Scott and Wayne, his aunt Lois Baker, his uncle Neal Brown, his beloved cousin Paul DaSilva and his wife Evelyn, his brother-in-law Michael Hutchins, Jr. and his wife Abby and their children Lily and Noah, and brother - in-law Anthony Hutchins and his wife Emily as well as several cousins. Friends and family are invited to visiting hours from 4 - 7pm on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at A.T. Hutchins Funeral & Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Ave, Portland. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, January 23 at 9:30am at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 72 Federal St. Portland. Interment with military honors will follow at Calvary Cemetery, South Portland.
