Helen M. Young April 21, 1936 August 20, 2016 Helen Marie Young, 80, died Saturday August 20, 2016 at her home with her family by her side. She was born April 21, 1936 in Portland, the daughter of Clinton K. and Mary G. Renna Palmer. On July 29, 1955 she married Albert E. Young and together they raised five children. Family and Sunday get together were her favorite times. Helen was predeceased by her husband of 57 years in 2012. She is survived by four daughters Dorna Girardin of Scarborough, Rosemarie West of South Portland, Mary Jo Anderson of South Portland and Lisa Taylor of Portland and her son Donald E. Young of South Portland. Her two sisters, Cora Collins and Marie Delaney and a brother Edward Palmer. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren AT Helen's request, there will be no visitation. Graveside Service will be held Thursday August 25, 2016 at 11am at New Calvary Cemetery, 1461 Broadway, South Portland.
