Helen (Tapley) MacCormack August 28, 1931 February 8, 2012 Scarborough- Helen (Tapley) MacCormack, 80, of Scarborough passed away peacefully on February 8, 2012, at her home. She was born on August 28, 1931, a daughter of Frank and Laura (Moody) Tapley. Helen was a graduate of South Portland High School. Helen was the widow of Payson, whom she was married to for 56 years. She is survived by two daughters, Leslie McLaughlin and her husband Phil from Mass. and Janet Hyde and her husband Mike of Augusta. She also leaves behind four grandchildren; Marc McLaughlin and his wife Stacy, Kelsey Hall, Jenna Hyde, and Brian Hyde. She was the loving sister of Arlene Farrington (deceased), Esther Tapley (deceased), Edith Moulton of Portland, and Dorothy Estelle of Chelmsford, MA. She has many nieces and nephews, her dear friend Rose Ratte and many friends from her church that will miss her. A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at West Scarborough United Methodist Church, 2 Church St, Dunstan's Corner, Scarborough.
