Hayleigh Marissa Morrow, 27, passed away on the morning of February 7, 2023. Born in Portland, Maine on February 17, 1995, Hayleigh returned to her birth city as a young adult and continued to call it home throughout her life. Hayleigh was raised in Saco, where she played softball, basketball, and field hockey, before discovering her life-long passion for theater. A naturally extroverted, creative, and passionate person, Hayleigh attended Thornton Academy, where she sang in the chorus and performed in the Drama Club. Many of Hayleigh's closest friends were fellow members of the TA Drama Club, and she was extremely proud to serve as its President in her senior year. As an adult, Hayleigh's passion for acting, writing, drawing, and photography continued to flourish. Her art was featured at Engine in Biddeford, as well as several stores and galleries in Portland, Maine. She thrived in the Portland Art scene where she made great friends who shared her passion and supported her throughout her life. As one can see in her writing and art, Hayleigh had a beautiful sense of humor and a knack for silliness, but her love for family stands out as her strongest trait. Hayleigh was always eager to visit her parents, grandparents, and siblings. On many occasions, she expressed her love for spending time on "the bench" with her Grandpa, Dad and the dogs at OOB; and for visiting her Grammie Bea and Grampa Walter at their home in Winslow, or their boat, the EbLeigh. As children, Hayleigh and her brother Eben spent countless hours playing, drawing, and talking. They remained extremely close through adolescence, and frequently spent hours on the phone together throughout adulthood. Hayleigh will be remembered for her beautiful smile and infectious laugh, which were often the catalyst of her friendships and the hallmark of her closest relationships. Hayleigh is survived by her parents, Andrew & Jen Morrow; her mother, Emily Perry; her step-father, Bert Kiesow and his wife Jaime & their 3 children; her grandparents, Earl & Janet Morrow, Sheila Perry, Walter & Bea Kiesow; Alice & John Pare, and Elmer Dobson, her aunts and uncles, Cyndi & Chris Smith, Gina Perry, Joann & Matt Clemons; several cousins, and many more family members that loved and supported her throughout her life. She is also survived by her brothers - Eben Kiesow, Chase Morrow and Perry Libby - who meant the world to her and will forever miss her dearly. Hayleigh is predeceased by her grandfather, John Perry & her beloved sister, Amber Morrow, with whom she will now be laid to rest at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco, where they often played as children. In leu of flowers, please make a donation in Hayleigh's memory to www.peabodyfoundation.org - The mission of the Peabody Auditorium Foundation is to advocate for arts and culture within our community, provide arts-related educational opportunities for underserved populations, and support the Peabody Auditorium's efforts to provide enrichment through performing arts. A time of visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 14, 2023 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM with a celebration of life to follow at noon. Entombment will take place in the Spring at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Saco. A reception will follow at The Saco Grange, 168 North St, Saco, ME
