Harriette Pearl Goldman Kosoff October 1, 1913 January 13, 2013 Falmouth- Harriette Pearl Goldman Kosoff passed away peacefully on January 13, 2013. She was 99. Harriette was born in Rochester, NY on October 1, 1913 to Phillip Goldman and Etta Raz Goldman. She was the last survivor of eight children. She attended school in Rochester and married William Kosoff on September 3, 1939. They were married for 64 years before William's passing in 2003. Together they had one child. Harriette and family lived in Syracuse, NY. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening. Harriette volunteered for a number of years at the Onondaga County Flu Clinics and the Syracuse Public Library. She was also an active member of the Jewish Community Center in Syracuse. She was a proud grandmother (Nana) and enjoyed many visits to Maine. During these visits she often took the children to the public library, shopping, local museums and many area restaurants. She is survived by her son, Mitchel Kosoff and his wife Sandra of Scarborough, three grandchildren, Terri Harrington of Durham, NH, Becki Wellman of Scarborough, and Mitchel Kosoff II of Westbrook, and eight great-grandsons. Private services will be held to honor Harriette's life. The family would like to thank her caregivers at Falmouth by the Sea.
