Harriett Hodgdon August 27, 1930 October 6, 2012 Portland - Harriet Hodgdon, 83, of Westbrook, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at the Barron Center in Portland. She was born in Westbrook on August 27, 1930. She lived her life in both Buxton and Westbrook. In years past, Harriett enjoyed pen-pals all over the world and she enjoyed being with family and friends, especially during the holidays. She will be greatly missed. Harriett is survived by two sons, Michael Hodgdon and Robert Tapley, her sister Ina Maxwell of Portland and her aunt Phyllis Harmon of Gorham. She is also survived by her grandchildren, April Hodgdon, Corey Tapley, Ben Tapley, Melisa Tapley, Brian Gagne and Wendy Gagne as well as several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Jeannette Stanley. At Harriett's request, services are private. Burial is at Tory Hill Cemetery in South Buxton. Arrangements are under the care of A.T. Hutchins Funeral and Cremation Services, 660 Brighton Ave, Portland.
