Harold Lewellyn August 11, 1927 November 28, 2014 Portland - Harold Lewellyn, 87, of Portland passed away peacefully on November 28, 2014 at St. Joseph's Rehabilitation and Residence. He was born on August 11, 1927, a son of Wesley and Harriet (Bryant) Lewellyn. During Harold's well-lived life, he served proudly in the United States Navy on the U.S.S Wisconsin, was head of the PTA and was part of the Police Reserves. He worked for A & P for almost 25 years. He also worked at Amato's on Forest Ave. for about 13 years. Harold was very much a people person and always loved to tell a story. Harold was a great man and adored his wife of 62 years, Shirley (Lunt) Lewellyn. He was also the best father anyone would ever ask for and a loving grandfather and great-grandfather. He is predeceased by his parents, all but one of his siblings and his son Gary Lewellyn. Harold is survived by his wife Shirley, two daughters; Candace Bragdon of Auburn, and Crystal Fish and her husband Timothy of Westbrook, grandchildren; Stephen Lewellyn and his wife Dawn of Largo, Florida, Julia Conant of Auburn, Melissa Fish and her wife Holly of Portland and Jennifer Fish of Westbrook, and great-grandchildren; Bailey, Jacob and Hannah Conant of Auburn and Makalya Lewellyn of Largo, Florida.
