Gregory Allan Nordstrom, 68, of Falmouth, Maine, died unexpectedly November 29, 2024. He was born Jan.5, 1956 in Skowhegan Maine, the son of Evelyn Trahman Nordstrom and Robert Nordstrom. Greg graduated from Deering High School and the University of Maine at Orono. He met the love of his life, Heather Stewart, in college. They have enjoyed attending Homecoming most years. He was proud to be a member of the service fraternity, Alpha Phi Omega. Greg enjoyed running and swimming. He participated in multiple races over the years including the Beach to Beacon, Portland's Patriots Day race and Bridgton's Four on the Fourth. He swam regularly and participated in the Peaks to Portland swim. He loved going to Red Sox and Sea Dogs games. He also enjoyed holiday gatherings with family. Greg looked forward to playing cribbage and visiting with his neighbors, especially Norman. He would shovel snow for his neighbors, making sure he had plenty of coffee and doughnuts to keep him going. He devotedly took care of his mother in her later years. Greg was predeceased by his parents. Surviving him are his life long partner, Heather Stewart, of North Bridgton; his brother Steven of Las Vegas Nevada; his brother Jeffrey, his wife Anne and their two children, Alan and Ellen Nordstrom; and his Stepmother, Charlene Nordstrom all of Portland. Visitation and service will be held from 9:00-11:00 AM Saturday December 14, 2024 at AT Hutchins Funeral Home, 660 Brighton Ave. Portland. Reception to follow at Saccarappa Lodge, 573 Main St. Westbrook.
