Geraldine "Gerry" O. L'Heureux Humphrey March 1, 1923 July 17, 2014 Geraldine (Gerry) O. L'Heureux Humphrey, 91 of Wenham, died Thursday July 17, 2014 of natural causes in Yarmouth, Maine. She was born on March 1, 1923 in Beverly, the daughter of late Charles J and Eva Marie Blanche Gagne L'Heureux. Gerry attended school in Beverly and graduated from Beverly High School the Class of 1942. After graduation she worked for many years as a telephone operator. She became a full time homemaker in 1960 while living in Wenham. She was an active volunteer at the Wenham Museum, the Herrick House and the Massachusetts Audubon Society where she was awarded a lifetime membership. Gerry was predeceased by her husband Hale Humphrey and her brother Robert C. L'Heureux. She is survived by a sister Dolores (Dolly) Hatch, a daughter Barbara Ann Karolides and her daughter Tara Lynn Maione Glenn; two sons, Hale Gordon (Skip) Humphrey and his daughters Jennifer Ann Zona and Katherine Marie Badolato, and Robert Charles (Bob) Humphrey, his wife Jane Jones Humphrey and their children Helen Marie Humphrey and Benjamin Hale Humphrey.
