George B Hooper April 29, 1940 December 22, 2015 George B. Hooper Scarborough - George B Hooper, husband of the late Ellen (Appleby) Hooper, died on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 after a long illness. George was born in Eastport, Maine on April 29, 1940 to James and Mabel Hooper where he grew up and attended local schools. In 1958 he married Ellen and they raised three children. George is survived by his children Lori Kelly of South Portland, and John Hooper and his wife Gretchen of North Yarmouth; his grandchildren, Rebecca Hooper, James Hooper, Shawn Kelly, Kevin Kelly, Rachel Mascolo, And John Mascolo and three great grandchildren, Haley, Antonio, and Dominic. He was predeceased by his son Bruce Hooper. A private funeral service will be held at Brooklawn Memorial Park.
