Flora M. DiBiase July 26, 1929 June 9, 2012 Portland - Flora M. DiBiase, 82, of Portland passed away at her residence on June 9, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on July 26, 1929 in Barre, Vermont, the daughter of Guiseppe and Palma (Mancini) DiBiase. Flora worked for many years at the Nissen Co. Bakery on Washington Avenue. She was a very independent woman who loved to travel, including ""a few"" trips to Foxwoods and a trip to Alaska. She was predeceased by her parents, her brothers Norman and Anthony DiBiase and her sister Annette Mary (DiDonato). Flora is survived by her nephew, Raymond DiDonato and his wife Mary (Allen) and her niece, Marie McKenzie and her husband Donald, all of Portland. The family would like to extend a special thank you to her nurses and the staff from VNA Hospice; Vanessa Baird, Amy Cousins, Melissa Lamprey, Carrie Loring, Ann Lulofs, Megan Parsons, Nancy Poulin, Ann Russell, Jodi Stalling, Catherine Studley and Jen Mancini for their exceptional care of Flora.
