Elliott A. Valley August 20, 2013 Buxton - Elliott A. Valley, 75, of Buxton, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 after a long illness. He was born and raised in Portland to Ethel A. (Pinkham) and Alfonso R. Valley. He worked for Burnham and Morrill in Portland for 31 years. He was a retired military veteran with over 24 years of service. He is predeceased by his wife Cynthia M. Valley, son, Timothy M. Valley, 5 sisters and 2 brothers. He is survived by his son Michael D. Valley of Strong; son Bruce A. Valley of Corinna; daughter June A. and her husband, John C. Wolfe of Windham, and their children, son Christopher B. Wolfe and his wife Kim of Cincinnati, OH, John M. Wolfe, Jennifer A. Wolfe, and Thomas W. Wolfe all of Windham; daughter Joan M. and her husband Adem W. Brooks of Lewiston, and her children, daughter Jessica L. Haskell, her sons Michael and Cole of Biddeford, Christine A. Haskell and her wife Kelli of Monmouth, Jamie L. and her husband Adrian R. McCallum, and their sons Damien and Adrian, Jr. of Lewiston, Brian S. Haskell and his son Gage of New Gloucester; daughter Deborah J. Valley and William D. Mitchell of Westbrook, and their children, Samara J. and her husband Brent W. Maatta, and their children Aidon and Bella, Shalahn R. Mitchell, Daniel M. Mitchell, all of Westbrook; sister Helena (Valley) Earley of NH; sister Janice (Valley) and her husband Stephen Carkhuff of RI; sister Nancy (Valley) and her husband Brian Witham of South Portland; sister Florance Valley of Portland. A graveside gathering with military honors will be held on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Forest City Cemetery, 232 Lincoln St., South Portland, at noon. There will be a gathering immediately following at the American Legion Hall at 17 Dunn St, Westbrook, ME. Arrangements are under the care of A.T.
